Procedure & Rules of Booking Holiday Home

  1. The holiday homes are open to the members, staff, their relatives, friends, ex-members & nominal members of the society only.

  2. Application Form for booking room(s) is available at the society’s office. The form may be downloaded from this website also.

  3. Booking for members, nominal members, ex-members , staff & ex-staffs will be opened  4 months before the commencement of the month in which the accommodation is applied for. For others,the said limit will be 2 months only.

  4. Allotments to the relatives and friends of the members, nominal members, ex-members,employees & ex-employees will be made on the basis of recommendation of the members,nominal members, ex-members, employees & ex-employees concerned who will be responsible to the society in all respect consequential to the boarders recommended by them.

  5. For booking room(s) , society’s prescribed application form duly filled in will have to be submitted along with full charges at the society’s office at Kolkata. Allotment will be made on “First come first serve” basis.

  6. Accommodation in single room is restricted to 4 persons including children while cot will be allotted to single person only. Ladies are not allowed in the dormitory. Extra head(s) will be allowed in no case. Booking hours is from 12 Noon to 7 PM on normal working days.

  7. On cancellation of booking by the permit holder refund of charges may be made if the same is cancelled in writing and submitted to the society’s office at least 15 days before the date of commencement of the booked period, otherwise no refund of charges will be made unless the same cancelled room/cot is re booked for the said period.

  8. Caution money paid at the time of booking will be refunded on submission clearance certificate attached with the permit duly signed by the caretaker of the holiday home, after adjusting the amount of compensation of damage/loss/breakage in the holiday home, if any. If the amount of compensation exceeds the amount of caution money, the balance will be paid by the boarder concerned forthwith.

  9. Overstay will not be allowed.

  10. Furniture should not be displaced or rearranged.

  11. cooking in the bed room is strictly prohibited.

  12. Boarders should receive the articles as per list attached with the permit from the caretaker under their signature at the time of entry. At the time of departure all articles to be returned to the caretaker in cleaned & good condition. Permit holders must sign the register of the holiday home at the time of entry & departure.

  13. House maid to assist in household work may be engaged by the boarder at their own cost.Caretaker’s recommendation should be sought for this purpose.

  14. The boarders must maintain general decency & decorum during their stay at Holiday Home and must not indulge in any act derogatory to the reputation of the society.

  15. The managing committee reserves the right of modification/addition/alteration of the rules at any time under prior notification to the members only.

  16. Photo ID cards of all members of the visiting party should be produced to the society along with the application form at the time of booking  and  again to the caretaker of the holiday home at the time of boarding .

Now, the members & nominal members residing at a far distant place from Society’s office may book the holiday home from their office/residence without coming down to Kolkata. For this purpose they have follow the following steps.
  • Enquire about the availability of your required holiday home suit/cot the fees to be deposited.
  • If it is available, download the form and fill it in full.
  • After completing the form in all respect, deposit the required amount in the Society’s current account No. 1039701313 styled as CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA EMPLOYEES’ CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY LIMITED A/C HOLIDAY HOME from any branch convenient to the member.
  • Then fax the completed form along with the counter part of the deposit slip to the societies office. Society’s fax number is (033) 22520894.
  • Send the original form along with a Xerox copy of your deposit slip to society’s office on next available post/courier service.
  • Talk to the booking staff of the society narrating your steps of action taken by you.
